Ratafia de Bourgogne
Rouge
This Burgundy grape juice muted with some old marc de
Bourgogne concentrates the aromas of the Irancy vineyards
with some hints of ripe grapes, blackcurrant and
of course brandied morello cherries.
On the palate it's as if biting into over-ripe grapes that
would leave the taste of cherry liqueur linger on your
taste buds. Interesting with some chocolate, intriguing
with the fruity notes it will bring to some
brownie, it will be perfect with a Black Forest gateau.
To surprise the passionate cooks you can add a few drops in a fruit salad or blend it with some whipped cream. With an aperitif you can mix it with some bubbly Crémant de Bourgogne or with some orange juice for a new style of cocktail.
