Irancy Palotte

Pinot Noir

There is no such thing as an Irancy Premier Cru but at the heart of the range let's see what Irancy Palotte is about. Palotte really is a set of identified plots of land in the Irancy vineyard. This particular place offers a very neat expression of the Irancy wines' typicity. This "Climat", among the most famous, isn't a premier cru but has tremendous potential.

This Irancy is fruity side as if you would crush a bunch a redcurrants and berries in your mouth. This will soon transform into jammy cherry aromas, some will even say it's because of the cherry trees planted on the hillsides of the AOC. In 2 to 3 years the real richness and full expression of Irancy will finally uncover to those who had the patience to wait.

It will then be time to get some of your favorite butcher's delicatessens and start the grill for this marvelous beef's rib on the bone. Depending on the occasion this Irancy is at its best between 14°C and 16°C and it's rather a good idea to open it a bit beforehand and letting it breathe even in a carafe.
