Made solely with the chardonnay grape variety is what could be called a "Blanc de Blanc", a white wine made with white grapes with white juices. The Domaine Verret's challenge is to offer the same sensorial experience and typicity a Champagne Blanc de Blanc would give.
The nose gives out aromas of honey, apple and white flesh fruits on a backbone of finesse with the hints of the mineral terroir. The first sip echoes the honey nuances felt earlier and the fine bubbles supports the vivacity and brings out hints of fresh almonds on a deep ripe white flesh fruit savour.
Rarely will you encounter a wine made with finesse and elegance in mind. Making every day a special occasion it's vivacity will accompany your aperitif but it can your all meal stand out. Warm oysters, creamed sweetbreads or even foie gras will find a perfect partner. You can also appreciate it on alone ... or with a loved one for a very special moment.
